No Ship like a partnership!
A partnership is a type of legal entity in South Africa that can trade, buy sell and generally conduct business. In stead of having directors or shareholders like a Company it has partners. There cannot be more than 20 partners in a partnership.
The idea of a partnership is that each partner contributes something to the “business” the one might be providing the funds, or the property or maybe a specific skill set. The important thing about starting a partnership is that you have a contract in place. This is ultimately a business and you need to protect the interests of parties to the agreement. There is also going to be different obligations for each partner but jointly you would want all parties to come to the table when it comes down to the nitty gritty like finances, book keeping, auditing and general running of the mill duties.
Don’t build your business on sand – make sure that you have a contract in place that will guide each party on what is expected of them and how you are going to make a success of this business venture!

The answer is always YES. Any business relationship should be put in writing. It doesn’t mean that you don’t trust your clients, it means that you are writing everything down that was discussed and agreed to.
2. Can I add my branding to The Legal Stuff’s contracts?
Yes, you can make your contract look pretty and just like your brand, it will still be legal.
